After Osborn reveals that he knows Peter is Spider-Man, he tells him that he will keep his secret. Even when Peter returns home, this still haunts him. Although Nico offers to take Peter to the movies, he tells her that he is having dinner with Osborn. In an empty restaurant, Peter tries to tell Osborn that he is not Spider-Man, but he sees through his lies. He reveals that after saving his son Harry, he began collecting candidates to be Spider-Man, eventually creating Amadeus, Jean, Asha, and Peter himself. He offers his services to help him, but Peter politely declines. Osborn leaves the door open, telling him to find something and go check it out.
